Bent Falk comes to the US for the new Klassic Stove

On May 29^th 2009, Wittus - Fire by Design hosted a meet-and-greet to introduce our new Klassic wood burning stove and oven to architects and builders in the tri-state (NY, NJ & CT) area. Bent Falk, the designer of the Klassic flew in from Denmark for the three-hour event.

Bent was instrumental in creating the first European contemporary stoves in the late 1960s, and Wittus and Bent Falk have teamed up to develop the new Klassic series with updated design and 21^st century technology (EPA certified).

In keeping with the Wittus’ long-standing philosophy of maintaining strong alliances with some of the nation’s most respected building professionals, the Friday evening gathering was a great networking opportunity for both planners and construction CEOs. Enjoying beverages and grilled snacks, they mixed and mingled and discussed the growing demand for Earth-friendly alternative heating solutions, the new tax credit, and how fire features - indoors and out - are steadily growing must-haves in residential and commercial venues. The showroom was literally ablaze with the latest Wittus hearth products, but Bent Falk and the new Klassic were clearly the stars of the show.
