Tax Credits for Wittus Products
The thermal efficiency of the following Wittus - Fire by Design Woodburning stoves have been determined to be greater than 75% and comply with the tax credit guidance published by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) on June 1, 2009 (Notice 2009-53). Therefore their purchase and installation costs can qualify for the 30% tax credit up to a maximum of $1,500 that were authorized for biomass-burning home heating stoves by the Economic Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

Wittus proudly introduces a new line of contemporary state-of-the-art pellet stoves produced by MCZ in Italy. Five models in steel, tile, or soapstone. Utilizes the unique Active System, which enables ease of use and maintenance. Also in Multiair versions to provide ducting heat through walls to rooms up to 25’ away. Check out the Pellet Stoves.

The new MiniStar Gelfire Pillar is a smaller version of the Star Gelfire Pillar with the same dimensions as the Moon Pillar. These Mix-and-Match models can be interspersed for dramatic lighting and charm to the garden area, the back yard, or the entrance way.

The new Danish Modern H530 Insert transforms an ordinary, heat-stealing open fireplace into a highly efficient, natural heating source that serves as a focal gathering place for family and friends. Measures 28” wide, 21” high, and 20” deep with a large full-sized fire box so there is plenty of room for standard length logs.

The LDF direct vent fireplaces are now available as see-through models! All 3 models - the 38", 42", and 52" models are now currently available. Truly a dramatic and decorative focal point for any room or rooms.

Armstrong House Project
Wittus – Fire by Design provided a Troja wood stove to the Armstrong House, the residence for a trained land steward. This project demonstrates how an existing, historical structure can be preserved while introducing alternative technologies to "power" an off-the-grid residence and also have expert practices of Land Conservancy.
